AGS Salalah is a lively international school situated in the Dhofar region of southern Oman. We currently cater to students from KG1 to Year 10, with established pathways for IGCSE, and we are in an exciting growth phase in both primary and secondary education.

What we are looking for
We are in search of educators who will positively influence our secondary phase and the broader school community. The ideal candidate will:

• Possess strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, with experience teaching secondary-age students.
• Have experience with the Cambridge curriculum, including IGCSE Mathematics, or be eager to develop this expertise.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that encourage problem-solving, reasoning, and mathematical fluency.
• Utilize assessment data effectively to monitor progress, inform planning, and support targeted interventions.
• Be skilled in using digital tools to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Foster a purposeful, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages positive behavior and high standards.
• Actively contribute to the school’s ‘one team’ philosophy through collaboration and professional transparency.
• Partner closely with parents to support students’ progress and achievements.

To meet visa requirements in Oman, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (UK or international).
• Hold a recognized degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Hold a B.Ed, BA (Hons) with QTS, PGCE, PGDE, or an equivalent qualification.
• Be fluent and proficient in English.

Compensation

OMR 1,200 - OMR 1,400 per month (Salary + International Benefits (flights, medical insurance, all visa costs, and full support with working and living in an international setting))
