Inherited from Harrow School, UK, which boasts 450 years of educational excellence, Asia International School Limited (AISL) has over two decades of experience in the field of education, having established international schools in Bangkok (1998), Beijing (2005), Hong Kong (2012), and Shanghai (2016).

Harrow International School (HIS) and Harrow LiDe School Haikou represents a significant initiative for the Hainan government as it aims to transform Haikou into an international education center. Harrow Haikou marks the first globally recognized educational brand in the province, set to elevate the standards of quality education throughout the region.

Situated in the Jiangdong District, at the north of Jiangdong Avenue and the south side of Linhai Third Road, Harrow Haikou offers K-12 international and bilingual education for both local and foreign day and boarding students. Both institutions commenced operations in September 2020.

We are looking for exceptional staff to fill positions starting in August 2025. Successful candidates will receive two-year renewable contracts that offer competitive employment terms and excellent working conditions.

We invite applications from educators in both the UK state and independent sectors, as well as those with international experience. Opportunities to engage with our boarding students may also be available.

Criteria for Application:

• Relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that provides QTS
• At least two years of teaching experience
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum of England, including IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as applicable
• A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to holistic education
• High levels of professionalism and a focus on children's well-being
• Recent and consistent participation in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all members of the school community, regardless of their position, age, or ethnic background
• Prior experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• A positive, solution-oriented approach to work
• A clean International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or police check (for those who have not worked in the UK) and no concerns regarding suitability to work with children
