RAK Academy - Al Hamra

Located in the southern part of Ras Al Khaimah within the Al Hamra community, RAK Academy – Al Hamra is a developing primary and lower secondary school. We provide an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K through Grade 8, alongside UAE MOE subjects. Our new secondary school, which will serve Grades 6 to 8, is set to open in August 2026. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), ensuring our standards meet those of leading international British schools, and we are prepared to fully support the ECT induction for teachers.

The Role:

RAK Academy Al Hamra Secondary is on the lookout for a Science Lab Technician to provide effective technical support to the Science Department. This position entails ensuring that all laboratory resources, equipment, and materials are properly prepared and maintained to enhance the teaching and learning experience in Science for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Essential Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• A solid understanding of Health & Safety protocols, including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.
• A proactive and adaptable attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree or High School Certification.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in a laboratory or technical environment.
