Qualified Under 2's Kaiako

We are a privately owned, family-oriented early childhood centre located in beautiful Omokoroa. Our supportive, collaborative team thrives on providing high-quality, play-based learning experiences for our tamariki.

We are seeking a qualified and registered kaiako to join our passionate teaching team in our Pipi room (0-2 years old).

About the role

This is a permanent, full-time position. Hours of work are between 7.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We’re looking for someone who

• Is based in New Zealand and eligible to work here at the time of application
• Holds a NZ ECE teaching qualification and current teacher registration
• Has a strong commitment to professional practice and ongoing learning
• Embraces a play-based learning philosophy
• Leads with heart, initiative, and positivity
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a shared leadership environment
• Builds warm, respectful relationships with children, whanau, and colleagues
• Has a love for the outdoors — not afraid to get a little muddy with our tamariki!
