Curriculum Overview:

Doha British School follows the National Curriculum of England, adapted to align with Qatar’s culture, heritage, and values. Our institution guarantees a smooth educational experience from Early Years to Sixth Form, blending academic excellence with robust pastoral care and an emphasis on personal growth.

The DBS curriculum at all levels is designed to be relevant, enriching, and challenging, integrating academic rigor with leadership, creativity, and global citizenship.

Ideal candidates should have:

A recognized teaching degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or an equivalent qualification.

A validated teaching certification, including a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE should be supported by a subject-relevant bachelor’s degree).

At least two years of teaching experience (international experience is desirable but not essential).

Exceptional subject knowledge, with significant experience in delivering the National Curriculum of England.

A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.

This role is scheduled to commence in September 2026; however, staff are expected to arrive in-country by mid-August for orientation and induction.
