Mathematics Teacher (High School)

The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of curriculum and effective teaching methodologies, ensuring our students achieve exceptional learning results within an authentic Christian environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to create and execute an instructional program that aligns with well-defined curricular and school goals
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Senior Leaders

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, especially Mathematics, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or an equivalent teaching credential, which includes a minimum of 10 weeks of practicum experience is required
• Teacher training/education recognized by Alberta Education
• Prior experience teaching Mathematics and/or related subjects at the high school level is preferred
• A strong command of both spoken and written English is essential
• While not required, please indicate any experience with IB or AP programs
• Candidates who align with the principles of Christian education are preferred

Commencement Date

The position is expected to begin in mid-August 2026. The initial contract is typically for 2 years, with the potential for renewal of additional 2-year contracts based on mutual agreement.
