About This Role
The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is a distinguished institution situated in a lively area. As a member of HMC, we have recently undergone a British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection, receiving exceptional ratings across various categories, including educational quality, safeguarding, student welfare, and academic performance.
BSB caters to a large and highly sought-after student body ranging from ages 3 to 18. Our curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum, offering a comprehensive range of GCSEs, A levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, alongside a strong enrichment program.
With a diverse community of over 2000 students representing more than 74 nationalities, BSB employs more than 315 staff members across three campuses. In 2026, we will inaugurate a new state-of-the-art campus in Maresme, located to the east of Barcelona city. This campus will initially serve students from Nursery to Year 6 in 2026, expanding to include Year 13 by 2028. This thrilling expansion will feature a variety of specialist facilities, such as modern classrooms, science labs, fully equipped music and art studios, dedicated spaces for play, social interaction, and study, as well as both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, all set against a breathtaking backdrop of mountains and coastline. It creates an extraordinary environment for learning.
