We are specifically in search of a Primary teacher who:
- Possesses a deep understanding of teaching, learning, and assessment for Year 1 to Year 6.
- Demonstrates knowledge and experience in applying contemporary pedagogical strategies in planning and instruction.
- Utilizes assessment data to design sequenced and differentiated learning opportunities tailored to the diverse needs of students.
- Maintains high expectations for all learners, particularly focusing on accelerating the development of students with low prior attainment.
- Creates language-rich learning environments to facilitate rapid English language acquisition for bilingual and multilingual learners (BML).
- Has experience with a concept-based curriculum.
- Keeps precise formative and summative assessment records.
- Analyzes the progress, interventions, and achievements of all students critically.
- Involves teaching assistants in observation and instructional processes, ensuring quality engagement and accurate documentation of student achievement.
- Actively contributes to and offers areas of staff professional development.
