About This Role
Due to a rise in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is in search of an enthusiastic, dynamic, and adaptable female PE teacher (suitable for ECT Teachers) to start immediately.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both primary and secondary students and is expected to engage in various extracurricular sports activities.
Opened in August 2017, Al Rabeeh Academy is a beautifully designed, purpose-built school that is part of an expanding network of schools. The academy boasts an array of sporting facilities, including a swimming pool, padel tennis courts, a football field, basketball courts, an indoor multi-purpose hall, and numerous playgrounds. Al Rabeeh Academy is a bilingual private institution serving students from FS1 to Year 13, offering the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. Successful applicants should align with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which has a significant population of Arabic-speaking students. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, capable of fostering open dialogue with students, staff, and parents. They must lead by example and actively participate in the Academy’s extracurricular activities program.
Applicants are required to be fluent in English, possess a Bachelor of Physical Education Degree or an equivalent qualification with a PGCE, and have at least two years of teaching experience in schools following the National Curriculum of England.
Candidates must demonstrate the following:
• Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Familiarity with current UK educational initiatives and developments
• Ability to teach across all key stages
• Passion for inspiring young people in PE
• Skills to organize PE, Health, and Sports workshops for students, staff, and parents when appropriate
• The capability to teach a second subject is preferred
• Commitment to excellence in learning, teaching, and educational leadership, believing in children's potential to achieve high standards in a supportive environment
• Ability to foster creative learning and focus on developing 21st-century learning environments and innovation skills
• Confidence in leveraging IT to enhance and motivate student learning experiences
• Experience utilizing data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external evaluations to monitor student progress
• Essential experience in teaching EAL students
