Are you passionate about teaching and looking for a flexible role? We're on the lookout for a Casual Teacher to join our vibrant educational community.

As a casual teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to teach and cover various subjects and engage with diverse groups of students. Whether you’re covering for an absent colleague or stepping in for a short-term assignment, your role will be to inspire, guide, and make a positive impact on students’ learning journeys.

The opportunity

This post would suit either a new entrant to the role or an experienced Exam Invigilator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons in a fun, engaging, and supportive way
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning needs
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Follow lesson plans and ensure smooth transitions between activities
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support students’ growth
  • To secure high standards of learning outcomes for all students through effective teaching.
  • To make a positive contribution to academy life and live by the academy vision. 
  • To undertake the teaching of designated students and associated duties
