DUTIES:
In this role, reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor (HRA) will deliver forward-thinking and strategic counsel, support, and guidance across various human resource services. This includes strategic human resource management, employee and labor relations, compensation, recruitment and retention, as well as supportive employment and accommodation initiatives. The HRA will also contribute to corporate efforts by participating in joint committees, engaging in significant projects, and identifying emerging challenges.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Resources; a relevant combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted
• Familiarity and experience with interpreting and applying laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and collective agreements
• Experience in delivering general HR consulting services, including recruitment and employee/labor relations
• Proven ability to provide innovative and effective strategic guidance to management on human resources matters
• Experience in supportive employment and accommodation services
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
• A client-centric approach with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the capacity to convey complex information to varied audiences
• Effective interpersonal skills with a talent for collaboration and relationship building
• Proficient conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment
• A commitment to lifelong learning

SALARY RANGE: $78,641 to $97,818 per annum plus remoteness allowance if applicable
POSITION LOCATION: The Pas or Thompson, Manitoba; other flexible work arrangements within Manitoba may be considered
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Term until March 31, 2028. Part-Time Term may also be considered. This position is excluded from the bargaining unit.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
