Position: Teaching Principal
Location: Cranberry Portage Elementary School
Start Date: September 8, 2026
FTE: 1.00 FTE

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Cranberry Portage Elementary School serves students from Nursery to Grade 8, with an enrollment of around 85 students, situated in Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. This picturesque community, known for its “cottage country” vibe, hosts approximately 1,000 residents and is located 50 km south of Flin Flon. The community offers essential services such as a gas station, a health center with ambulance services, a community recreation center, an arena, and regular air service to Flin Flon and The Pas.

WHAT YOU BRING
• A Bachelor of Education Degree along with a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for one).
• A Master’s degree in education/administration and/or a Certificate in School Leadership would be advantageous.
• A minimum of five years of teaching experience coupled with five years of administrative experience.
• Proven track record in creating and executing both short and long-term school-based strategies.
• Strong familiarity with school-based technology and its application.
• Knowledge of Indigenous Ways of Life is considered an asset.
• Experience in a northern community is also regarded as an asset.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
