Education Skills and Training:
· Hold a Bachelor of Education Degree from a Ministry of Education-recognized institution
· Possess a valid Saskatchewan Professional “A” Teaching Certificate and be registered with the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board
· Advanced training in special education, such as certification or progress toward certification with defined timelines, or other relevant advanced training is preferred
· Proven teaching experience with students who have complex needs, including behavior management and/or special education, in one-on-one, small group, and classroom environments
· Demonstrated understanding of the Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and Ministry initiatives
· Awareness of the contributions of other Human Service Agencies in supporting learning and managing complex behaviors
· Familiarity with personal care requirements for students with complex needs
· Capability to lead planning, implementation, monitoring, and coaching for student Inclusion & Intervention strategies with staff
· Successful implementation of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions for Pre K to Grade 9 students with complex needs
· Documented experience working with children exhibiting physical, emotional, and behavioral diversity
· Knowledge and networks to develop and manage care plans for medically challenged students
· Ability to lead, collaborate, and mentor staff and parents in providing support for students with complex needs
· Willingness to acquire skills to administer academic/educational assessments for students with complex needs
· Leadership in making data-driven decisions

Requirements:
· Being a practicing Catholic actively engaged in personal faith formation is considered an asset
· Must provide a recent (within the last 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
