Job Overview
In this position, you will teach a diverse curriculum within the Lower Secondary phase, focusing on establishing strong foundations in numeracy, scientific reasoning, and digital skills. This role calls for a learner-centered methodology, innovative lesson planning, and a dedication to nurturing independent thinkers.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach Mathematics and Computing as part of the Cambridge Lower Secondary framework
• Design and implement engaging, tailored lessons that address a variety of learning needs
• Foster students’ problem-solving abilities, inquiry skills, and digital literacy
• Evaluate, track, and report on student progress
• Engage in curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning initiatives
• Promote student wellbeing and contribute to their pastoral growth
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain effective communication with parents
• Participate in school events, extracurricular programs, and ongoing professional development
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within an international school
• Valid teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent credential
• Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum
• Native English speaker or possess exceptional proficiency in both spoken and written English
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Dedication to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning
• Capability to teach multiple subjects: Mathematics and Computing
