Arabic Teacher (Arabic B)
Reach British School is on the lookout for a remarkable, enthusiastic, adaptable, and dedicated Arabic Teacher (Arabic B – Non-Native Speakers).
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Arabic as a second language and will be devoted to delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that enhance students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening capabilities. They will offer effective, personalized feedback in alignment with essential school policies, including Teaching & Learning and Assessment, ensuring that students are supported, challenged, and motivated to achieve outstanding results.
•
Design and implement high-quality Arabic B lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and planning frameworks (LTPs, MTPs, and STPs).
•
Instruct Arabic to non-native speakers, facilitating language acquisition from beginner to intermediate levels.
•
Build students’ confidence in speaking and listening, with a structured approach to improving reading and writing.
•
Introduce age-appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures to support practical communication.
•
Cultivate an appreciation for Arab culture and traditions through the language learning process.
•
Effectively structure lessons to maintain pace, challenge, and engagement.
•
Differentiate instruction to accommodate the diverse language abilities present in the classroom.
•
Employ interactive strategies, games, and hands-on activities to enhance language retention and fluency.

Assign meaningful and engaging homework to reinforce and expand learning.

Candidates must demonstrate:

At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience in the UK or a British Curriculum school.
•
Experience in teaching Arabic as an additional language (Arabic B / Non-Native Speakers).
•
Strong understanding of language acquisition strategies and current assessment practices.
•
Excellent classroom management abilities.
•
Experience with data systems, student tracking, intervention strategies, and reporting.
•
A commitment to exceptional teaching and learning.
•
Proficiency in utilizing IT and digital tools to enhance language education.
•
A readiness to establish strong partnerships with parents.
•
