The ideal applicant will possess the skills necessary for delivering well-structured lessons and providing meaningful, personalized feedback in accordance with key policies, including Teaching and Learning, feedback, and displays. This is essential to ensure that students are safe, engaged, and challenged to optimize their progress and educational outcomes.

Specific responsibilities will involve:

· Contributing to the school community while promoting our values of Safety, Respect, and Ambition.

· Planning exemplary teaching and learning experiences in alignment with the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.

· Fostering a positive and creative learning environment conducive to outstanding practice.

· Collaborating with colleagues on lesson planning to guarantee opportunities for all students to achieve and progress.

· Utilizing assessment and feedback effectively to drive individual student improvement and achievement.

· Implementing digital tools and technologies in lessons to enrich learning experiences and enhance progress.

· Keeping accurate records and assessments of students to inform next steps, which can be communicated to parents to support students’ success.

· Upholding a restorative approach in managing behavior concerns in accordance with the school’s Behaviour Policy.

· Staying current with best practices through the school’s CPD schedule, ISP Learning Hub, and personal professional development opportunities.

Applicants must clearly demonstrate in their application or during the interview:

• A minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience, either in the UK or at a British Curriculum school.

• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and contemporary assessment practices.

• Experience with data systems, student tracking, interventions, target setting, assessment, recording, and reporting.

• A commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.

• A readiness to build strong partnerships with parents to support student success.

• The ability to collaborate and contribute to whole-school initiatives and the school improvement cycle.
