Whole School Social Studies Teacher

Yas School is on the lookout for an exceptional Whole School Social Studies Teacher to become part of our team in August 2026 for the academic year 2026-2027, or potentially sooner.

At Yas School, we implement the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum, with a particular emphasis on inclusive education, enrichment, and preparing learners for the future. Established in 2015, we stand as the largest single-campus K-12 government school, serving over 1750 girls and boys on our expansive campus.

We seek a seasoned educator with a background in UK or US curricula and preferably some familiarity with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum.

In your role at Yas School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and impactful lessons that facilitate students’ academic achievement, personal development, and overall well-being. You will be instrumental in empowering students to realize their full potential, equipping them to excel as competitive global citizens while also honoring and strengthening the UAE’s heritage and Emirati identity.

As an educator, you will nurture strong connections and maintain open lines of communication with parents, colleagues, and students, upholding high academic and behavioral standards that align with the school’s ethos and policies. Your commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment will inspire every student to achieve excellence.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the relevant subject area.
• A Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, evidenced by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent qualification.
• Bilingual abilities (English & Arabic) are highly desirable.
• A UAE Certified Teaching License or equivalent, or be in the process of obtaining one.
• A minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
