About This Role

Shattuck - St Mary’s International School in Vietnam is a prestigious educational institution dedicated to delivering exceptional education through the Advanced Placement curriculum. We are in search of a skilled and energetic Secondary Principal to guide our High/Secondary School division. This pivotal role calls for a committed educator who is passionate about promoting academic excellence and the overall development of students. The Secondary Principal will also serve as the Head of Boarding but is not required to reside on campus.

Position: Secondary Principal

Education Stage: High/Secondary School
Curriculum: Advanced Placement

Key responsibilities include managing the daily functions of the secondary school division, facilitating professional development for faculty, ensuring curriculum delivery meets AP standards, encouraging student success, and fostering effective communication with parents and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Education or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership or administrative experience in secondary education
- In-depth understanding of Advanced Placement curriculum requirements and assessment methods
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead teams and efficiently manage school operations
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience in an international school context is preferred

- Experience in managing a Boarding Program is also preferred
