Aldar Education is on the lookout for an exceptional **Vice Principal** for **Yasmina American Academy** located in Abu Dhabi, with the role set to begin in the **Academic Year 25/26** or potentially earlier based on appointment.

**Strategic Direction**
- Assist the Principal by undertaking assigned responsibilities and stepping in as Principal during their absences.
- Partner with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to guide teaching, learning, and school development initiatives.
- Evaluate leadership, teaching, and learning standards as part of the school's self-assessment process.
- Create budgeted subject plans that align with the School Development Plan, engaging staff in their implementation.
- Develop and supervise short-, medium-, and long-term plans for resource enhancement in key areas.
- Collaborate with external organizations to inform school strategies.

**Leading Teaching and Learning**
- Work alongside the Principal to elevate teaching quality and improve student outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback to colleagues to aid their development and enhance student learning.
- Promote staff performance through professional growth opportunities and reflective practices.
- Organize staff meetings and invite external speakers as necessary.
- Keep abreast of curriculum changes and share relevant information with staff.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of teaching and support personnel.

**Leading and Managing Staff**
- Cultivate a professional learning community to reach high standards.
- Facilitate staff growth through continuing professional development, performance management, and goal setting.
- Foster a positive school culture founded on fairness, collaboration, and high expectations.
- Celebrate team successes and build effective learning partnerships with other schools.

**Efficient Resource Deployment**
- Assist the Principal in refining organizational structures while ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
- Oversee subject budgets, ensuring that expenditures align with priorities and deliver value.
- Distribute and track resources to improve learning outcomes.

**Accountability**
- Collaborate with the Principal to ensure accountability to parents, ADEK, and Aldar Academies.
- Advocate for high-quality education, collective responsibility, and a collaborative school culture.
- Provide accurate performance reports to stakeholders and utilize feedback for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring the effectiveness of work schemes and teaching strategies.

**Strengthening Community**
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote equity and access.
- Collaborate with other schools and Aldar Academies to share resources and expertise.
- Partner with parents and agencies to ensure the well-being of all students.
