Secondary Maths Teacher
About This Role
We are in search of an exceptional Secondary Maths teacher who embodies our ‘I’ values and can effectively integrate them into their teaching practice.
As our school continues to expand and diversify its IGCSE and IB subject offerings, we are looking for a creative and dynamic educator to teach Maths to our Secondary students. This position will involve teaching KS3, IGCSE, and IBDP Maths.
It would be advantageous for candidates to have the ability to teach IBDP Maths AI or AA as we enhance our range of opportunities for students. Currently, we provide Maths AI for Year 12 and 13, with Maths AA set to launch for the first time in August 2025. While prior experience teaching IB level Maths is not a prerequisite, a strong desire for professional growth is essential. We are committed to providing comprehensive training and development support.
Additional qualifications for this role include:
- Experience teaching in an inclusive secondary school.
- Familiarity with the English National KS3 and IGCSE curriculum is preferred, but we welcome a flexible approach that aligns with an international perspective.
- A commitment to supporting, teaching, and enriching the IB studies for our Year 12 and 13 students.
- A knack for contributing to innovative curriculum development.
- A passion for fostering learning approaches and skills that ensure both immediate and long-term success.
- Dedication to making learning engaging and meaningful.
- A willingness to take risks to challenge and inspire students.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a culturally diverse and inclusive school environment.
- A desire to participate in extracurricular activities, pastoral care, and community engagement.
