About our School

Hanoi Toronto School stands out as a unique educational institution in Vietnam. Established in August 2022, it is the sole school in the country that offers international and integrated programs for both Primary and Secondary levels (Grades 1-12) based on the Ontario, Canada Curriculum.

The Ontario Curriculum is widely recognized in Canada for its design, which aims to help every student realize their full potential through a structured, relevant, and age-appropriate learning experience. It emphasizes the necessity for students to be critically literate, enabling them to synthesize information, make informed choices, communicate effectively, and succeed in a dynamic global society. The curriculum is crafted to ensure students can relate personally to what is taught, how it is delivered, and its relevance to the world. Ontario has established curriculum frameworks, resources, and achievement standards for both primary and secondary education. This curriculum undergoes periodic revisions with input from curriculum developers, parents, educators, and other stakeholders. The Ontario Ministry of Education provides sample activities and assessment rubrics aligned with grade-level and subject-specific curriculum objectives, facilitating teachers in integrating appropriate activities and assessments into their instruction.

At HTS, we have tailored this curriculum offering, comparable to other major global curricula, to fit our international and Vietnamese context.

International Schools Partnership (ISP)

HTS is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), one of the largest international educational networks, comprising over 90 schools across more than 20 countries. HTS has a partnership with Lynn-Rose College, a distinguished private IB world school in Ontario, which is also a member of the International Schools Partnership. This collaboration provides our students the chance to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the opportunity to study in Canada at Lynn-Rose through exchange or transfer programs.
