Secondary Biology Teacher

Al Rabeeh Academy is looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Secondary Biology Teacher to begin immediately, responding to an influx of students.

As a bilingual private school serving students from FS1 to Year 13, Al Rabeeh Academy implements the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic instruction. We are searching for candidates who are committed team players, brimming with energy and enthusiasm to contribute to the growth of Al Rabeeh Academy, which may present pathways for internal advancement as the school evolves.

Candidates must understand and align with the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which has a significant proportion of Arabic-speaking students. The ideal applicant will be an excellent communicator, capable of fostering open lines of communication with students, staff, and parents. It is essential for candidates to lead by example and actively participate in the Academy's extracurricular activities.

Fluency in English, a relevant science degree, a PGCE, and at least two years of teaching experience in schools following the National Curriculum of England are mandatory for applicants.

Candidates should be able to showcase the following:

• Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Familiarity with current UK educational initiatives and developments
• A genuine passion for ensuring each student thrives academically
• Proficiency in teaching KS3 and KS4, with experience delivering Science up to GCSE
• Experience in teaching A-levels is desirable but not required
• A proven record of enhancing student attainment and achievement
• High levels of student engagement, challenge, and progress
• Ability to facilitate creative learning and foster 21st-century skills and innovation
• Confidence in utilizing IT to enhance and extend student learning experiences
• Experience in analyzing data from assessments to monitor student progress
• Experience with EAL students is a plus, but not essential
• Experience as a form tutor is desirable, but not essential
