New Entrant Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing kaiako to join the Karaka whānau.

We require a teacher who:

• is developing knowledge and understanding of the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum, aligned with the science of learning
• supports ākonga as they begin their school journey
• creates a calm, structured learning environment, drawing on strong early years pedagogy
• is confident in, or willing to develop, explicit and systematic teaching practices
• builds strong relationships with ākonga and whānau and contributes to our friendly, inclusive school.
