About This Role
Are you prepared to take the helm of an inclusive primary school within Wandle Learning Trust, a dynamic multi-academy trust?

We are seeking a bold, nurturing, and inspiring Headteacher who possesses substantial curriculum expertise and is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching. You should either be an existing Headteacher or a Deputy Head with significant and proven leadership experience.
Are you passionate about collaboration and enhancing standards for every student?
Alongside the chance to engage with wonderfully rewarding children, we offer you:
• Ample opportunities for personal growth through our Teaching School, as well as English and Maths Hubs, including a chance to take on a leading role in both regional and national school improvement initiatives.
• The freedom to tailor your curriculum to best serve the needs of your school community.
• A supportive partnership with innovative, like-minded school leaders aimed at fostering improvements at both the school and Trust-wide levels.
Closing date for applications: Midday Wednesday 22nd April.
Interviews: Week of 27th April.
We highly encourage you to schedule a school visit on either 14th or 15th April. For an informal discussion or to arrange your visit, please reach out to Executive Headteacher, Jon Goulding, at office@grovelands.e-sussex.sch.uk.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and a check against the Children’s Barred List.
The Wandle Learning Trust values the diversity of our student body and is proud to inspire them through representative teaching and support staff. We strive to select all staff based on merit, regardless of race, sex, disability, age, gender reassignment, sexuality, or any other protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010.
The Academy welcomes applications from candidates with disabilities. If you have a disability, please let us know what adjustments we can make during the application process to ensure a fair shortlisting experience that meets your needs.
Please note that we do not accept CVs.
