English Teacher
About This Role
We are looking for an energetic and passionate English teacher to become part of our large, experienced team. The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in English and have experience teaching at KS3 as well as Cambridge IGCSE First Language. Having the ability or experience to teach A Level or its equivalent would be a plus.
Requirements:
- Applicants must have at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Education/Teaching/Training, or equivalent.
- Candidates with teaching qualifications such as CIATL, CICTL, PGCE, or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- A strong command of both spoken and written English is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, particularly in an international school setting, is required for this role.
- Experience in delivering the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is preferred.
- Applicants should be creative, enthusiastic, and capable of planning and conducting high-quality lessons aimed at enhancing student learning.
- Familiarity with international teaching pedagogy, methods, and strategies is expected.
- A willingness to engage in the broader life of the school is crucial.
