We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned English Teacher for the Upper School to become part of our exceptional team.

About the Role:
We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Upper School English Teacher to join our vibrant international community at ELIS Villamartín. This is a thrilling opportunity to lead and enhance the English curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, motivating students to tap into their creativity, build self-assurance, and achieve academic excellence.

This role is full-time and permanent, with a proposed start date in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver stimulating and high-quality English lessons to students aged 11–18, preparing them for IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
• Utilize assessment data to effectively monitor student progress, provide comprehensive feedback, and set improvement targets.
• Integrate the ELIS Murcia Values—Respect, Care, Perseverance, Honesty, and Kindness—into all teaching, learning, and school activities.
• Monitor student progress with assessment data, offering timely support and challenges to help maximize individual potential.
• Foster student wellbeing and resilience, contributing to the implementation of the Cognita Be Well Charter.
• Engage actively in the broader life of the school through co-curricular activities, events, and enrichment opportunities.

Who We Are Looking For:
• A degree and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
• Demonstrated success in teaching English at the secondary level, with experience in preparing students for external examinations.
• A commitment to holistic education, supporting both academic advancement and personal growth of every student.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset, with the ability to inspire both students and colleagues.
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, strong communication skills, and a dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
