Primary Music Teacher

We are looking for a dynamic Primary Music Teacher to join our vibrant Primary phase, starting in August 2026. In this role, you will teach Music across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. Requirements and Experience:

Essential


• A bachelor's degree in Music or a related discipline

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Proven experience in primary music teaching across EYFS and Primary

• Proficient instrumentalist with expertise in whole class teaching

• Demonstrated capability to lead ensemble rehearsals

• Comprehensive understanding of the English National Curriculum for Music

• Confident in using assessment to foster progress for all students

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Track record of delivering consistently inspiring lessons with proven results

• Familiarity with Safeguarding and Child Protection protocols

• Commitment to the welfare and pastoral care of all students in their charge

• Innovative, creative, enthusiastic, and results-oriented

Desirable


• Experience working abroad or with international student populations is beneficial

• Background in organizing productions and concerts within a school environment

• Knowledge of music technology to enhance the learning experience
