We seek applicants who demonstrate the following attributes:

Strong leadership abilities that inspire, support, and develop the Humanities department staff;

In-depth understanding of KS3, GCSE/IGCSE, and A Level or IB Business, Economics, and related Humanities curricula;

A team player who places a high value on learning and teaching;

The desire and capability to bring out the best in others;
•
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
We welcome applications from experienced individuals with a solid grasp of the English National Curriculum in Humanities, who are devoted to upholding the Haileybury Habits.
Remuneration Package:
We offer a competitive remuneration package that includes a substantial salary, annual gratuity, Allianz medical insurance, yearly flights home, full school fee remission for up to three children, high-quality fully furnished accommodation, and a relocation allowance, subject to eligibility.

Interviews:
The recruitment process will involve online video-conferencing interviews with the Senior Leadership team:
• Initial interviews for longlisted candidates will be conducted by the Head and Deputy Head of the Senior school.
• Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place with the Headmaster and HR Director.
All applicants will receive acknowledgment of their submission. Candidates who have not been contacted for an interview by April 2nd can assume they have not been selected this time, and the Board appreciates their interest.
The successful candidate should be available to start in August 2026.
