Egypt British International School (EBIS) is on the lookout for a skilled and seasoned Arabic Teacher to become part of our team for the 2026 academic year. We seek an enthusiastic educator dedicated to enhancing students' Arabic language skills, cultural identity, and appreciation for Arabic heritage. The ideal candidate will facilitate academic, linguistic, and social growth while instilling pride in the Arabic language among students.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education, or a related discipline.

● Recognized teaching qualification (such as Diploma in Education or equivalent).

● At least 2 years of successful teaching experience, ideally in an international or bilingual educational environment.

● Strong familiarity with the Ministry of Education standards and/or Arabic curriculum frameworks pertinent to international schools in Egypt.

● Native fluency in both spoken and written Arabic.

● Comprehensive knowledge of Arabic grammar, literature, reading comprehension, and writing instruction.

● Capability to tailor instruction for both native and non-native Arabic speakers (if applicable).

● Proficient in positive classroom management, fostering a respectful and engaging learning atmosphere.

● Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Job Description:

● Design and implement high-quality Arabic lessons that meet both school and national curriculum standards.

● Enhance students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities in Arabic.

● Foster an appreciation for Arabic literature, culture, and heritage.

● Evaluate, monitor, and document student progress, offering constructive and timely feedback.

● Prepare students for required internal and external assessments.

● Maintain precise records in accordance with school policies and safeguarding guidelines.

● Effectively communicate with parents/guardians about students' academic progress and wellbeing.

● Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.

● Participate in weekly CPD sessions and contribute to ongoing professional growth.
