We are looking for a passionate and experienced Secondary Department Principal to become a vital part of our school's leadership team. This position is perfect for an instructional leader dedicated to enhancing teaching effectiveness, boosting student performance, and fostering a collaborative and professional secondary department.
The Secondary Department Principal will oversee the daily academic and operational management of the secondary program, ensuring that lessons are delivered effectively, classroom practices are robust, assessments are of high quality, and a safe and supportive learning atmosphere is maintained.
•
Deliver strong instructional leadership to enhance teaching quality and student learning achievements
•
Oversee curriculum implementation, lesson planning, teacher coaching, and classroom observation cycles
•
Manage assessment systems, monitor student progress, and develop academic intervention strategies
•
Facilitate positive student behavior systems, wellbeing monitoring, and anti-bullying initiatives
•
Coordinate daily operations, including staff scheduling, duty assignments, and overall departmental organization
•
Maintain open communication with the School Director/Owner and collaborate effectively with administration
•
Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and ongoing improvement
Minimum Requirements
•
Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction or Instructional Leadership (mandatory)
•
Demonstrated experience in instructional leadership (department head, academic coordinator, vice principal, principal, etc.)
•
At least 5 years of secondary teaching experience (leadership experience preferred)
•
Thorough understanding of curriculum planning, assessment systems, and teacher development strategies
•
Exceptional leadership, communication, reporting, and team management abilities
•
Capability to operate in a structured organization with well-defined decision-making processes
•
Strong professional ethics and dedication to student wellbeing and academic excellence
Compensation & Benefits

Net Salary: USD 4000.00 per month
