Job Description:

In the role of Secondary Specialist Teacher at Kuwait National English School, you will be tasked with delivering stimulating lessons tailored to the needs of young learners. You will cultivate a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while building strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators. You will be responsible for providing students with comprehensive coverage of the curriculum, including IGCSE and AS levels.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics

- PGCE in Education or a related field

- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in primary or elementary education

- QTS Certificate required

- Native English speaker

- In-depth knowledge of the UK curriculum along with IGCSE and A Level frameworks

- Demonstrated ability to support students through their IGCSE and AS level coursework

- Commitment to guiding students as they transition to post-secondary education

- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

- Capability to design effective lesson plans accommodating various learning styles

- Strong classroom management techniques that foster respect and discipline

- Competence in utilizing educational technology in instructional practices
