ROLE SUMMARY:

St. Peter’s International School, situated in Palmela close to Lisbon, accommodates approximately 1,500 students aged 4 months to 18 years on a contemporary 37,000 m² campus. The institution provides a bilingual curriculum (Portuguese/English), Cambridge programs, and the International Baccalaureate, alongside boarding facilities for older students. We are in search of a dedicated and highly skilled IB Psychology Teacher to implement the IB Psychology curriculum beginning in August for the upcoming academic year. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Create and deliver stimulating, differentiated lessons tailored to diverse learners.


Employ innovative teaching strategies, including inquiry-based learning and digital resources.


Evaluate student progress and provide meaningful feedback.


Participate in curriculum development and incorporate technology to enhance learning experiences.


Cultivate a respectful and inclusive classroom environment while supporting student well-being.


Collaborate with fellow staff and engage in school events and extracurricular activities.


Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to safeguarding policies.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related area (teaching qualification preferred).


Experience in teaching IB Psychology (or comparable international curricula).


A passion for motivating students and fostering both academic and personal growth.


Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.


Experience in an international or multicultural setting (preferred).


Proficient command of English and a commitment to student well-being.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
