About This Role
Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) commenced operations in August 2022 and is the second independent institution under the Abdulrahman Education Group (ARKEDU), the sole educational group in Bahrain with aspirations for both local and regional growth. The late Mr. Abdulrahman Jasim Kanoo, the founder of the schools, envisioned a future where education is accessible to everyone in the Kingdom. ARKS functions from a newly constructed facility, initially welcoming 220 students from Nursery to Year 5. Following the British curriculum, our current enrollment has expanded to over 650 students from Nursery to Year 9. Plans for further growth include the addition of an extra year to our Lower Secondary School, with the goal of accommodating 1,000 students from Nursery to Year 10 by the academic year 2025/26.
Our school places a strong emphasis on Environment, Sustainability, and Innovation, integrating these themes into our core values. Students enjoy access to four multi-purpose sports courts that are FIFA and FIBA approved. These facilities are incorporated into our curriculum, as we believe that experiential learning significantly enriches students' educational journeys. As the only tri-lingual school in the Kingdom offering conversational Mandarin, our leadership team is dedicated to addressing gaps in local, regional, and international markets. We continuously evaluate our curriculum, teaching strategies, infrastructure, extracurricular offerings, and career development opportunities to enhance unique educational experiences. Well-being is a priority for both students and staff within our Education Group, reflected in our comprehensive Well-Being Curriculum and activities focused on stress management, health, work-life balance, and team building.
