About This Role
Key Responsibilities
•
Create and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
•
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and support academic progress for everyone
•
Foster a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment that promotes high expectations and student engagement
•
Employ both formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress, inform instructional strategies, and boost student success
•
Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students in line with IB learner profile characteristics
•
Prepare students effectively for external examinations at IGCSE and A Level
•
Work collaboratively with peers to refine curriculum development, share best practices, and continuously enhance teaching and learning results
Requirements:
Essential
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field
•
Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Science at the Secondary School level
•
Experience with IGCSE and/or A Level Science is required
•
Strong abilities in classroom and behavior management
•
Proven track record of supporting and advancing student progress
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•
Fluent or native-level command of English
Desirable
•
Experience teaching the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)
•
Experience in international school settings
