Part-time Class Teacher with English Lead (TLR 2b) 3 days a week
About This Role
We are looking for an ambitious and inspirational person with a passion for making a difference and enabling children to succeed, to take on the role of leading English at our ‘good’ Infant and Nursery School. The role involves a 3 day a week class-based responsibility, in a job-share with an existing member of staff but time will be given for leading English across the school.
We are an inner-city Infant and Nursery School. We pride ourselves on the fact that we place children and relationships at the centre of everything we do. The successful candidate will:

- Monitor and observe teaching and learning across the school to improve and develop practise and feed back to staff
- Analyse data to identify trends and set targets

The successful candidate will need:
- A clear understanding of how young children learn
- At least 3 years’ experience of working in Primary Education
- The ability to work well with children, colleagues and other professionals
- A commitment to child development and equal opportunities
- An understanding of the law around keeping children safe (safeguarding)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and a good sense of humour
