About This Role
GEMS Founders School – Dubai South is on the lookout for a committed and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Inclusion Team within GEMS Link Services. In this role, you will be essential in enhancing students’ independence, engagement, and overall well-being within the school setting. Your expertise will assist students of determination in developing crucial motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills that are essential for their academic and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions customized to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and the Inclusion team to execute classroom-based strategies and support plans.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Provide training and practical strategies to staff to foster student growth across various settings.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in line with KHDA, DHA, and school standards.
