About This Role

At Citizens School, we are transforming education with our forward-thinking mission to "Inspire, Empower, Thrive." Our fundamental values are rooted in four key pillars: nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets, promoting inquiry-based learning, facilitating transdisciplinary project-based learning, and recognizing each learner as a valued individual. We are dedicated to preparing students for future challenges by incorporating real-world applications into all subjects while fostering personal exploration and growth within a supportive and inclusive environment.

Role Overview:

Citizens School Dubai offers a vibrant and innovative work atmosphere. The successful candidate will work closely with the Nursery Manager, Managing Director of Operations, and the Senior Leadership Team, playing an essential role in supporting and inspiring our youngest learners.

As the Nursery Mentor, you will cultivate a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence. You will be pivotal in designing and implementing outstanding early years programs, ensuring every learner has the chance to excel academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Citizens School, our mission centers on Inspiring, Empowering, and enabling all learners to Thrive.

Your responsibilities will include embedding and enhancing this vision in every facet of your work, guiding learners to recognize their potential and pathways, and empowering them to take ownership of their educational journey.

Our Early Years Approach:

In our nursery, we implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, emphasizing seven areas of learning alongside our customized Citizens Future Framework. Our nursery curriculum is built around four essential pillars:

  • Entrepreneurship

We nurture creativity, imagination, and initiative from a young age. Learners are encouraged to explore ideas, solve problems, and take manageable risks through play and exploration. This approach fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, cultivating resilience and adaptability.

  • Project-Based and Inquiry-Led Learning

Our nursery integrates project-based learning into age-appropriate, play-centered experiences. Through thematic projects, learners enhance their collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities while forming meaningful connections with their environment.

  • Everyone Known and Known Well

Each learner is valued as an individual. By establishing strong, trusting relationships with mentors, we ensure that every learner’s strengths, interests, and needs are understood and supported. This personal connection fosters a welcoming and inclusive learning community.

  • An Inquiry-Based Mindset

Curiosity is encouraged at all times. Learners are supported in asking questions, exploring, and investigating. This hands-on approach promotes critical thinking, deepens understanding, and instills a passion for lifelong learning.

Qualifications and Experience:
