This full-time position involves teaching English as part of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP).

Please note: While an IB MYP certification is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite—extensive IB training and professional development will be provided.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an MYP Teacher, you will:

• Motivate students to engage in critical thinking, logical reasoning, and the use of mathematical concepts in practical scenarios.
• Lead students through engaging units grounded in conceptual inquiry and global contexts.
• Foster a learning environment that encourages collaboration, communication, creativity, and rigorous skill development.

You will:

• Design and execute differentiated lessons using blended, student-focused approaches.
• Incorporate problem-solving strategies, modeling, and real-world data into daily instruction.
• Use the GRASPS framework to develop authentic summative assessment tasks.
• Assist students in self-reflection, self-regulation, and active academic participation.
• Most of our students are highly driven, nationally selected scholarship recipients, offering a unique opportunity to profoundly influence exceptional learners.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Certified teacher specializing in Mathematics.
• Experience with IB MYP or a similar inquiry-driven curriculum is preferred.
• Proficient in English and capable of instructing in English as the primary language.
• Competent in using digital tools for teaching, collaboration, and assessment.
• Passionate about mentoring students and nurturing confident problem-solvers with strong numeracy abilities.
• Willing to engage in continuous professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
