The Position:

De La Salle College is accepting applications for teaching positions from candidates who meet the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Intermediate/Senior Science curriculum
  • A Bachelor’s degree in education
  • Valid membership in good standing with the Ontario Teachers College (OCT certification)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to build open and cooperative relationships with students, parents, guardians, faculty, and staff
  • Proven enthusiasm and leadership in extracurricular activities

This is a full-time position starting on August 28, 2026, and ending on June 30, 2027, with the potential for extension.

Compensation:

Salary and placement will align with the De La Salle College Faculty Grid, with salaries ranging from $67,580 to $92,617 for early-career educators and $95,385 to $123,500 for those with over six years of experience. Final salary placement will take into account recognized teaching experience, degrees, and Additional Qualifications (AQs). De La Salle College offers a supportive work environment along with a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan when applicable, and encourages professional development.
