Key Responsibilities:
Pedagogical
Leadership:
Lead, sustain, and expand the Curiosity Approach philosophy across our
Foundation Stage.
Curriculum & Progress: Oversee a diverse,
inclusive, and well-sequenced EYFS curriculum while maintaining effective
assessment tracking to ensure strong pupil progress.
Strategic Improvement: Feed insights into the
School Development Plan (SDP) and create targeted action plans for the
EYFS.
Staff Empowerment: Coach, mentor, model
team teaching, and deliver CPD to continuously build staff practice.
Collaboration & Outreach: Lead networking
efforts, deliver training, and liaise with partner schools and the St.
Lawrence Academies Trust on key EYFS initiatives.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track
record of outstanding Early Years teaching and leadership.
Deep
understanding of and alignment with the Curiosity Approach philosophy.
The
vision, drive, and enthusiasm to lead strategic school improvement.
Articulate,
confident communication skills to build collaborative relationships and
deliver engaging training.
