About This Role

EAL TEACHER

Start: August 2025

We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivating English Additional Language (EAL) Teacher. For candidates with the appropriate experience, there is an opportunity to take on the role of EAL Coordinator within the department.

The selected individual will likely have a portion of their timetable dedicated to teaching KS3 or IGCSE English.

Proficiency in differentiated, formative assessment practices is essential. Additionally, candidates should be willing to engage in the school’s extracurricular holistic programme, which includes opportunities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, sports coaching, or assisting with the Arts programme.

A solid understanding of, or the capability to operate within, a British Curriculum framework is necessary, along with the ability to thrive in an English medium instruction environment. A minimum of two years, ideally three years, of teaching experience and possession of a PGCE/qualified teacher status (QTS) is required.

Remuneration package

The position will begin in August 2025. The remuneration package for expatriate staff is competitive and includes a housing allowance, medical insurance, annual flights, an Apple Macbook Air laptop, education for dependent children, and additional benefits.
