About This Role

We wish to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and expanding department where Maths and Further Maths is taught up to ‘A’ level. The successful applicant would be passionate about their subject as well as pastoral leadership.

We are looking for a candidate who can proactively plan, support and intervene to ensure high standards of behaviour, attendance and progress for the students joining us in Year 7 this September. Year Leaders ensure the effective management of the welfare of every student, working in partnership with teachers, parents and outside agencies for the benefit of each child.

This full time post would suit a teacher with experience of pastoral leadership. For an informal discussion about the post or to arrange a visit prior to application please contact Govin Persand, Deputy Headteacher - gpersand@stanborough.herts.sch.uk

We were delighted to be awarded a ‘Good’ rating by Ofsted in March 2023, this recognises the hard work and progress made by all in the school. Prospective candidates are encouraged to read the full report available on our website at https://stanborough.herts.sch.uk/wpcontent/uploads/2023/01/2023-OFSTED-Report.pdf.
