The Egypt British International School (EBIS) seeks an enthusiastic and committed Co-Teacher to join our team for the 2026 academic year. Our mission—Enriching – Exploring – Excelling—along with our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence, guide our educational approach.

We are looking for a caring and proactive educator who is focused on nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of students in a supportive and culturally vibrant British-curriculum environment. The right candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver outstanding learning experiences, ensuring that every student is motivated to achieve their maximum potential.

Requirements:

● A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related discipline.
● A teaching qualification or diploma in education (preferred).
● Experience in an educational setting, preferably within a British or international school.
● A solid understanding of child development and inclusive teaching methodologies.
● Ability to support students with diverse learning requirements, including EAL and additional assistance as necessary.
● Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work effectively and professionally as part of a team.

Job Description:

● Assist the Class Teacher in lesson planning and execution in line with the UK National Curriculum.
● Help in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
● Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
● Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and well-organized classroom environment.
● Monitor and document student progress under the direction of the Class Teacher.
● Support behavior management in accordance with school policies.
● Foster student wellbeing and promote social-emotional development.
● Assist with supervision duties, school events, and enrichment programs.
● Engage in relevant CPD sessions and pursue ongoing professional growth.

Compensation
