We are currently in search of a passionate and energetic **Chemistry Teacher** to become a part of our Chemistry Department starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for Chemistry and the capability to motivate students across Key Stage 3 Science, Edexcel IGCSE, and Edexcel International A-Level curricula. Your role will include delivering stimulating and challenging lessons, aiding students in achieving their maximum potential, and actively participating in the broader academic and co-curricular activities of the College.

**Key Responsibilities:**

● Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to students of varying ages and abilities, aligned with the specified curriculum and timelines.
● Create an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and academic success.
● Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry assessments, ensuring they obtain the best possible outcomes.
● Monitor students’ academic progress, providing consistent feedback and support.
● Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science Department to create innovative teaching materials and strategies.
● Participate in departmental meetings, continuing professional development sessions, and school-wide events.
● Contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral aspects of school life.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

● A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry is essential, along with a postgraduate teaching qualification (PGCE and/or QTS).
● A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required.
● Experience instructing Science at Key Stage 3 and teaching IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry in an international or British curriculum school.
● A true passion for Chemistry and a dedication to student-centered education.
● Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
● The capacity to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
● Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and the integration of technology in the classroom.
