Sun West School Division is pleased to announce an opening for the role of Vice-Principal at Outlook High School in Outlook, SK, starting in the 2026/27 academic year. This leadership position is vital, serving as part of a collaborative educational team that provides essential guidance within our learning community. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Master’s degree or are currently pursuing graduate studies. Outlook High School anticipates an enrollment of 323 students for the upcoming school year. The specific teaching duties will be decided in coordination with the principal and superintendent.
We are looking for an instructional leader who can:
- Inspire and integrate the PeBL philosophy within the school environment;
- Guide the entire school community towards a unified vision of teaching and learning excellence;
- Prioritize student achievement;
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities;
- Employ a leadership approach that emphasizes collaborative decision-making;
- Show a track record of fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff;
- Create and sustain a safe, orderly educational atmosphere;
- Enhance the positive reputation of both the school and Sun West School Division;
- Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to set clear objectives and direction;
- Build and maintain connections within the community;
- Display exceptional organizational skills;
- Possess a working knowledge of technology.
