About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional and inspiring leader and educator who resonates with the academic and holistic values upheld by premier British International Schools. A strong passion for creating enchanting learning experiences, providing tailored pastoral support for every student, and offering a diverse and truly fulfilling enrichment curriculum is essential. While prior international experience is not mandatory, a genuine eagerness to engage with an international community is crucial. Jerudong International School is dedicated to promoting equal opportunities for all staff and encourages applications from individuals of all backgrounds, in line with the protected characteristics of the 2010 UK Equality Act.

At Jerudong International School, our students embrace the motto “Togetherness and Community.” This principle is key to our Polio Points reward system, where students in Years 7 to 13 are encouraged to exceed expectations. Our reward system aligns with our six student objectives: Leadership, Resilience, Communication, Thinking, Engagement, and Integration. Students earn Polio Points, which contribute to donations made to UNICEF as part of the global End Polio initiative.

We are on a path towards establishing a genuinely sustainable school community, with the Green Flag Eco-School initiative playing a vital role in this endeavor. Our goal is to foster a mindful approach towards our impact on both our local community and the wider world. We also motivate our students to consider how their actions can resonate globally. The Sustainable Development Goals serve as a framework for creating a fairer, more peaceful, and sustainable world for all. The school strives to inspire students to become socially responsible global citizens, ready to tackle the challenges of the 21st century.

To apply, please fill out the application form through the TES website, where further information about the position is also available. Your profile must be fully completed and include an updated CV. This should feature a recent photograph and the complete contact details (including email addresses) of three professional referees, one of whom should be your current or most recent headteacher. A covering letter is also required. Please note that applications will be rejected if profiles are incomplete, if no covering letter is provided, or if CVs are not submitted via TES. JIS is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, expecting all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. References will be obtained prior to final interviews, and all positions are subject to appropriate vetting procedures along with satisfactory Criminal Background Checks or equivalents covering the past ten years of employment history.

The deadline for applications is Friday, 3rd April 2026; however, early applications are strongly encouraged. Initial and final interviews will take place via Google Meet.

If you have not been contacted by Friday, 17th April 2026, please assume that you have not been shortlisted. The School appreciates your interest.

The successful candidate should be prepared to begin employment in August 2026.
