Situated in the heart of Phuket Island, HeadStart achieved ‘International School’ status in 2010 and is fully accredited by The Education Development Trust. In our latest inspection, we earned the International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM), with accreditors recognizing our institution as a ‘Good School with Outstanding Features.’
Our curriculum draws from the national curriculum of England, offering Cambridge & Pearson qualifications at the secondary level, including IGCSEs, A Levels, and BTECs.
Our main campus at Chaofah serves 1000 students and is oversubscribed in most year groups. Starting in August 2028, we will enhance our Upper School site and services to establish 'HeadStart College' as the premier educational institution in Southern Thailand.
In August 2023, we inaugurated a new campus in the northern part of the island, Cherngtalay. Initially a one-form Foundation and Primary school, our Cherngtalay Campus has now expanded to a three-form entry Foundation, Primary, and Secondary School (KS3 only), accommodating up to 500 students.
PE Teacher (Chaofah Campus) –
We invite applications for a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team starting August 2026.
The ideal candidate will possess experience teaching a diverse age range.
Applicants should be proficient in swimming instruction as well as curriculum PE. Familiarity with IGCSE PE and/or BTEC Level 3 Sport is advantageous.
We seek an inspiring educator who can make the subject engaging and lively.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player with passion, energy, and the ability to ignite a love for learning in their students. A good sense of humor and a strong work ethic are essential.
Requirements / Application Information –
Essential Qualifications:
•
Comprehensive understanding of the PE curriculum across all age groups
•
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
•
A recognized teaching qualification: BEd.; PGCE; iPGCE or equivalent
•
Fluent in English
Desirable Qualifications (not mandatory):
•
Experience teaching IGCSE PE and/or BTEC Level 3 Sport
•
Prior experience in an international school setting
•
Experience working with English as an Additional Language learners
Compensation Package:
