We are in search of a qualified educator to teach Secondary History at our school located in Koh Samui. This presents a remarkable opportunity to enhance your skills on one of Thailand's most beautiful islands while engaging in a distinctive, results-oriented teaching methodology.

Main Duties


Make substantial contributions to the school through various means, such as enrichment activities, creating effective teaching strategies and curriculum, implementing interventions for individuals or groups, administering internal assessments, or participating in outreach programs;


Instruct students across different ages and abilities, providing challenges for advanced learners and support for those who may struggle with the subject;


Pursue your own professional growth and development in collaboration with our leadership team;


Adhere to the school’s assessment and reporting guidelines, follow the teacher’s manual, and participate in parent meetings as necessary;


Engage in the co-curricular activities of the school as coordinated with our leadership team;


Demonstrate a strong commitment to the safeguarding of all young individuals;


Provide tutoring to various groups of students, showing genuine interest in their academic and personal development;


Regularly assist with various initiatives such as educational development or pastoral care, supporting the school and building rapport with students.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a reflective classroom teacher who:


holds a good honours degree (2:1 or above) and/or a higher degree in a closely related field;


is enthusiastic about their subject and can exhibit the necessary knowledge to deliver engaging lessons to students of all ages and abilities at Panyadee (PBISS);


aligns with Panyadee (PBISS) holistic educational vision and is eager to contribute to both co-curricular and pastoral dimensions of school life;


possesses strong interpersonal abilities, enabling you to establish relationships and collaborate effectively with a diverse array of individuals;


is dedicated to ongoing professional development;


shows a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion;


welcomes advancements and innovations in teaching and learning and is open to various assessment and differentiation strategies in the classroom;


is prepared to share their educational approaches with the school community and benefit from collaborative teaching practices;

can show proficiency in ICT and is willing to utilize various technologies for educational purposes;

· To comply with, adhere to, and actively support school policies and procedures.

· To perform any other duties that align with the role and are assigned by school management.

· To follow the school’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and conduct any designated duties related to Health and Safety and security within the school.
