About This Role
ALS is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team of skilled educators. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive educational teaching plan in line with the school's standards.
• Offer personalized instruction to each student, fostering an interactive learning environment.
• Create and distribute educational materials such as notes, summaries, and assignments.
• Monitor and document students’ progress while providing grades and constructive feedback.
• Ensure the classroom is clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, parents, and stakeholders, participating in regular meetings.
• Positively influence the school’s atmosphere and represent the school well within the community.
• Organize and implement both in-class and outdoor educational activities and events.
• Observe and comprehend students’ behavior and mental well-being, reporting any concerns regarding neglect or abuse.
• Enhance your professional skills and knowledge by engaging in seminars and conferences.
• Actively participate in school-wide professional development initiatives.
• Welcome constructive criticism and respond positively to feedback.
• Uphold and implement school policies and procedures consistently.
• Take necessary precautions to ensure student safety at all times.
• Be ready to extend your work hours beyond the school day as needed to support student learning.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain a transparent and honest relationship with the principal.
• Exhibit patience when working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
