About This Role

Are you passionate about sparking curiosity and inspiring young minds through science? Do you have a particular love for Physics and a desire to help students explore the universe around them? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Ringwood School is a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school committed to academic excellence and the personal growth of every student. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our thriving Science department. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled teacher who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to share their passion for learning.

What you'll be doing:

  • Teaching engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Sharing your passion for Physics (or another science specialism) to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and thinkers
  • Having the opportunity to develop and teach A Level for those ready to take that step
  • Collaborating with a team that values creativity, reflection, and mutual support

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified teacher with a Physics specialism (preferred) - but we welcome all science enthusiasts
  • Someone with a love of learning, a growth mindset, and a great sense of humour
  • An educator excited by the challenge of making science meaningful and memorable

What we offer:

  • A warm, inclusive and ambitious school culture
  • Well-equipped science labs and enthusiastic, respectful students
  • Strong CPD support - including opportunities to move into A Level teaching and beyond
  • A team that celebrates success, supports each other, and makes coming to work enjoyable

Whether you're just beginning your teaching journey or looking for a fresh challenge in a supportive and dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Come and shape futures with us. Come and teach what matters. Come and be part of a school where curiosity is encouraged, learning is celebrated, and teachers are truly valued.
